Parenting Tips-Parental Alienation Syndrome

When parents separate, it is important to the mother and the father to keep in touch with the children. Many children still ???????, with one side or another. Sometimes this is the choice of the child, but all too often it occurs due to the impact of parent ?????.

This phenomenon is nothing new, but only recently he received there. In the early 1980s, a child psychiatrist Richard a. Gardner coined the term "parental alienation syndrome" is defined as he that disorder, insulting belittles child from parent one without good reason, partly due to the influence of other parent.

Parental alienation syndrome is not officially recognized by medical or legal fields of mental health as a problem but does not prohibit. estrangement from one takes place many separations, divorces. This can occur for several reasons, including but not limited to the following:

* One parent wants to master other life completely. enabling children against a former partner is a way to get it.

* Adequate custodial parent wants money or adequate custodial parent and the children property as bargaining.

* One parent with a jealous too, or want the children to him/herself.

* The parent one believes that other notable children's father.

* The parent one feels unable to compete with the other parent for the affection of children, and retaliates by trying to keep kids from seeing him or her.

* The offending parent more hostile towards the other parent is keeping your children to hurt him or her.

Why, the parent is being effectively becomes the child against other parent or the children. He or she may partly or limit your business or reduce or cancel the bond between parent and child, he or she can make with comments about the presence of a parent or the children or even make false allegations of abuse. If it directly written or not, the offending parent may feel that they must choose one or the other.

When exposed to this behavior, often with the children next to the alienating parent. they do this to obtain this certificate, or parent, because they believe that horrible picture painted of the other parent. yet they often assert that the decision to reject the other parent is, because they want their offending parent to feel guilt or appear.

Parental alienation syndrome can be mild or severe, but in any case, it can have devastating effects on the child involved. it becomes trapped in the middle of a conflict between the two most important people in their relationship with both parents. usually becomes tense, it may lose touch with one of these. unless any misuse is a factor, it is usually best to encourage the child's interest and good relationship with MOM and dad.
